CoolSculpting treatment – is a non-invasive fat freezing treatment to reduce and eventually remove stubborn fat from problem areas of the body.
CoolSculpting treatment uses cold temperature to break down fat cells. The fat cells are particularly susceptible to the effects of cold, unlike other types of cells. While the fat cells freeze, the skin and other structures are spared from injury. This is one of the most popular nonsurgical fat reduction treatments, with over eight million treatments performed worldwide*¹. Only CoolSculpting targets fat cells alone, eliminating them in an easy, non-intrusive fashion that exercise and diet can’t achieve as quickly or as effectively.
What is CoolSculpting?
CoolSculpting is a procedure of freezing non-surgical fat and fat reduction. It uses a controlled cooling method to eliminate stubborn fat, which is difficult to reduce with diet and exercise. CoolSculpting is a non-invasive procedure for fat reduction. It is an inventive way of body contouring by freezing unwanted fat, without any surgery or downtime.
How Does CoolSculpting Works?
The CoolSculpting procedure delivers precise and controlled cooling to the targeted area and fat cells underneath the skin. Once the treatment is done. the treated fat cells are crystallized and they die and are eventually eliminated by the body naturally.
How Does CoolSculpting Works?
Why is CoolSculpting better?
CoolSculpting doesn’t burn, shatter or extract any cells. It is developed by Harvard scientists, It’s a unique, FDA-cleared, patented procedure that uses a targeted cooling process that kills the fat cells underneath the skin, literally freezing them to the point of elimination.
Only fat cells are frozen. Your healthy skin cells remain, well, healthy. No knives. No suction hoses. No needles. No scars. Once crystallized, the fat cells die and are naturally eliminated from your body.
CoolSculpting (Cryolipolysis) treatment is ideal for patients who wish to reduce a localized fat bulge that has persisted despite diet and exercise.
Minimal Downtime and Lasting Results with CoolSculpting
CoolSculpting takes very little time and is pretty simple to fit into your daily life. After your CoolSculpting treatment, you can typically get right back to your busy day. Each treatment lasts an hour. After one visit, you’ll typically see a noticeable reduction in fat.
It takes a few months to fully realize the effects because it takes that long for your body to naturally dispose of the fat cells. And you can lose even more with additional sessions if you and your doctor deem it necessary.
And as long as you maintain your normal diet and exercise, your long-term coolsculpting results should remain stable.

Who will be a good candidate for Coolsculpting?
Good candidates for CoolSculpting have noticeable bulges in certain areas they’d like to get rid of. Your doctor will determine if treatment is right for you during the consultation.
Patients with cold-related conditions, like cryoglobulinemia, cold urticaria, and paroxysmal cold hemoglobinuria should not have cryolipolysis. Patients with loose skin or poor tone may not be suitable candidates for the procedure.
What to expect during CoolSculpting treatment?
You and your doctor selects the area(s) to be treated. The doctor will position the device on your body. The device will then draw the tissue up between the cooling panels. The sensation is a firm pull and pressure – enough of a pull to ensure the selected tissue will be cooled most efficiently. Depending on the procedure, the treatment is usually done after 35 minutes.
Does CoolSculpting require anesthesia?
CoolSculpting procedure is done without anesthesia. After an assessment of the dimensions and shape of the treatment area to be targeted, an applicator of the appropriate size is chosen. The area of concern is marked to identify the site for applicator placement. A gel pad is placed to protect the skin. The applicator is applied and the bulge is vacuumed into the hollow of the applicator. The temperature inside the applicator drops, and as it does so, the area numbs. Patients sometimes experience discomfort from the vacuum’s pull on their tissue, but this resolves within minutes, once the area is numb.
Patients typically watch TV, use their smartphone or read during the procedure. After the treatment, the vacuum turns off, the applicator is removed and the area is massaged, which may improve the final results.
What is the result that I will achieve after CoolSculpting treatment?
The injured fat cells are gradually eliminated by the body over few months. During that time the targeted treatment area decreases in size, with an average fat reduction of up to 27% in the treated area in a single session*².
How many CoolSculpting treatments will I need?
Our doctor would need to assess you in person to help estimate the cost. Typically, you’ll see a noticeable reduction of fat in the treated area after one visit, but you may appreciate even more fat reduction with additional treatments.
Are the results permanent?
When you have your CoolSculpting treatment, the affected fat cells will be eliminated. As long as you maintain your weight with your normal diet and exercise, your long-term results should remain stable.
